Free shipping offers (where indicated) apply to orders with a shipping address in the lower 48 states only. 

Shipping Charges

If a product doesn't have a Free Shipping label, then shipping will be charged at checkout. A handling charge of $5 to $15, depending on the products and the amount of the order, is included.

Please note that our shipping software isn't always accurate, especially when ordering multiples of the same item or very heavy items. If you are overcharged for shipping, we will issue you a refund for the difference. If you are undercharged, then you got a great deal!

International Orders

We do not ship internationally.

Order Confirmation

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. When we receive your order, we reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is available for shipment within the specified time frame.

If your item is on back-order or unavailable, we will reach out to you via email or phone and void the pre-authorization if you so desire. If your item(s) are available for shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within the following time frame according to brand, from the date of your order:

Please keep in mind that processing times may be a little longer during holiday periods. Shipments can also be delayed due to supply-chain issues with our manufacturers. We will inform you if there is any significant delay expected.

We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@lapidarymart.com.

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to returns@lapidarymart.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

The Covington 8" Standard Diamond Maxi Lap Flat Lap Machine is a high-quality lapidary machine designed for grinding, shaping and polishing your precious stones. The cast aluminum body provides a sturdy and durable base for the machine, while the quick-change aluminum heads (no hole) make it easy to switch between different grinding and polishing discs.

The machine features a 1/3 hp heavy-duty motor with a carrying handle, providing plenty of power to handle even the toughest jobs. The aluminum heads turn at 1410 rpm, ensuring a smooth and consistent finish every time. And with unobstructed access to the work surface, you can easily maneuver your workpiece for optimal results.

The Covington 8" Standard Diamond Maxi Lap Flat Lap Machine comes with two 8" - no arbor hole, resin-bonded diamond sanding discs (220 & 1200 grit), as well as one 8" - no arbor hole, 1/8" thick felt polishing disc. All discs are affixed to a hard rubber face with "Stick-N-Peel" adhesive.

The water manifold assembly provides a steady flow of water to keep your workpiece cool and lubricated, while the book about using diamond abrasives offers helpful tips to ensure you get the most out of your machine.
